Area 52 September School Holiday Painting and Modelling Classes!

Area 52 will be holding its popular painting and modelling classes again from the 8th of September. Monday's are for painting classes, and Tuesday's are for Terrain Building.
The Painting classes are a relaxed way for beginners to pick up a few new techniques and ideas. The classes cover spray undercoating, model clean up, green stuff, basing etc… Bookings can be made via phone on (03) 6231 0271 and are essential!

Tasmanian State Warhammer Championship Results Released

Here are the results for the 40K, WHFB and LotR tournaments held over the weekend at the Mecure.
I am just compiling the WHFB results into the required format to be submitted to Andrew Galea to go into the Australian Tournament Rankings.

Please don't forget to hand in your Army lists before the 30th of June.
Penaltys will apply if late!!

Please, if your sending them in Army builder format could you also send a copy in another format as well. The shop computers do not have this program, as it is not essential to the point of sale functionality they have been set up for.
Don't forget to bring your own copy of your list to the Tournament!!

Area 52 has been experiencing technical difficulties with its email for some time. This has meant we have not been able to receive or send emails from our store accounts. Until this problem has been suitable rectified once and for all, to contact the store reliably, you will have to give us a phone call, or use the forums.

June School Holidays Painting and Modelling Classes

In the June school holidays Area 52 will have paining classes/hobby days. These will be held Monday through until Wednesday both weeks, starting on the 2nd of June. Classes can cover spray undercoating, the use of 'Green Stuff', pinning and basing your models, or to give you advice on any problems you might be having.
The Tuesday sessions will be terrain building classes, and spaces are limited to 6 per class. These classes have materials supplied.

Tasmanian State Warhammer Championship Errata

There has been an error found in the Lord of the Rings Rules Pack for the Tasmanian State Warhammer Championship. (The total points cost this year was increased, but we forgot to enlarge the amount of models you could take!).
The rule pack in the downloads section has now been updated, and we ask all prospective LotR players to download the revised copy.
Tasmanian State Warhammer Championship Rule Packs Released

The rule packs for the annual Tasmanian State Warhammer Championship Tournament have been released today.
Ticket registration is now underway. It is very important to pre-register int his tournament, as places for all tournaments have tend2ed to go very quickly in the last few years.
This is one of the premier Tournaments in Australia, combining two days of great gaming with lunches, dinners, and access to GW staff who can provide all kinds of exciting news on up and coming releases.
