Arena League runs on alternate Saturdays with Saturday Morning Magic Running between each game day. The format will
be the same as previous seasons. This is a fantastic opportunity for players of any skill level to win great prizes
and play against new opponents. The more you play, the more league points you earn, win or lose. So even if you have
only been playing Magic for two weeks, you are still able to climb steadily up the league ladder.
We start at 10 am each Saturday morning, and go through untill 4pm that afternoon. Check the Calendar for dates.
On League day
Each player is given a score sheet at the beginning of each League day. Players then find an opponent, play a match
and record the results on their score sheet. (wins are worth two points, losses are worth one point). Players must
play one other opponent before playing each other again. The score sheets are then collected at the end of the day.
At the end of each week, each players total points are transferred to the Weekly Standing Sheet and the website ,
which is used throughout the League to keep a running total.
Once a player has reached the milestones of 8, 16, 20 and possibly 24 (depending on availability) they will recieve
a prizecard.
Guidelines
These guidelines are valid for all constructed league formats:
- Each player must have a deck of at least 60 cards.
- A players deck may not contain any more than 4 of any individual card, by card title, with the exception of basic lands (including snow covered variants.)
- Sideboards must contain exactly 15 cards or 0 (zero) cards. Before the beginning of the second or third game in a match, players may change the composition of their decks by exchanging cards from their deck with cards from their sideboards.
- Any card changes made this way must be done on a one for one basis to ensure the sideboard remains exactly 15 cards at the start of each game.
- New card sets become legal form league play as soon as they are available.
- Only one of a given card found on the restricted list may be used in a players deck.
- Any cards on the banned list are not allowed in a players deck.
