For Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Fantasy Battles and Lord of the Rings.
Rules packs are now available to download in PDF format from the downloads section.
There are a few changes this year. the most notable ones are as follows:
Lord of the Rings will be taking the War of the Ring format, with point value for an army set at 100 points.
There will be no composition scoring in Warhammer Fantasy Battles this year, as a bit of a hurrah in seing out the old version of the game in anticipation of the new 8th Edition due out shortly. The tournament will be using the 7th Edition rules set.

Thanks to all who were involved in helping the set up and running of the tourney:
Damien Harper and Andrew Turnock for helping out in a big way with the set up. these guys gave up two nights to lugg tables and terrain around
The other handfull of people who helped with the above (whom I don't know all their names - sorry!)
Jarrod Coad for the rules packs, running the WHFB room with an iron fist, and helping out with the data entry,
Damon Hawker for allowing it to happen again, and putting his neck on the line,
Todd for floor judging upstairs without exasperation and getting the games done on time,
All players for having a good time despite some staggering losses and tense games
Heath for being the face of Area 52 and keeping good humour despite the odds, and organising the helpers so something productive was actually done
Mark and Simon for helping out with the other odds and ends that need to be sorted before the tourney even began
Dales Laptop for not blowing up mid way through the rounds (Whew!!!)
And finally, The Mecure Hotel for allowing 70 odd gamers to invade their premises with good grace!
