6) Phil
7) Chris Cook
James just squeezed into the top five over Phil by a very slim score.
Final table placings:
James (Tremere/!Tremere) > Sam (Big Baali Bleeders)
Sam opted to be bleed by James, because in a previous game he had some issues with James delfecting his bleeds.
James (Tremere/!Tremere) > Sam (Big Baali Bleeders) > Joel (Big Tzimice Tool-up)
A hard choice for Joel as his deck required some time to set-up. He opted to be Sam's prey, as James's deck had demonstrated it ran a good number of small vampires in his crypt and could overwhelm his prey quickly.
James (Tremere/!Tremere) > Michael (Enkidu Rush/Bleed) > Sam (Big Baali Bleeders) > Joel (Big Tzimice Tool-up)
Having seen all three decks in previous rounds, Michael sat as James's prey because his deck could easily handle the horde of Tremere. His position was sneaky as it didn't really leave me with anywhere else to sit, I had no intention of trying to take on Enkidu until I was well set-up. Placing myself anywhere near Enkidu would see my poor little Hunters turned into bloody smears on the wall.
James (Tremere/!Tremere) > Michael (Enkidu Rush/Bleed) > Sam (Big Baali Bleeders) > Damien (Hunters) > Joel (Big Tzimice Tool-up)
I placed myself as Sam's prey figuring I could get set-up some solid defense set-up before his big, bomb bleeds came through at me.
Final Table:
The game starts off slowly for Michael, Sam and Joel who chose to influence out some large vampires. James brings out a small tremere and gets a few bleeds into Michael before Enkidu hits the table. Nergal appears in Sam's ready region much to my horror and Joel brings out Lambach. I manage to bring out "Cassie247" and equip her with a variety of defensive powers and equipment in an attempt to keep her alive and my pool supply healthy.
Lambach finds himself a Hawg or some other piece of equipment and Joel starts the slow process of influening out a friend for Lambach. Enkidu goes to town on the Tremere, showing the blood stealing mages why you don't make Enkidu angrey. James influences out a third Tremere for defense, looking very cowed and intimidated by an angery Enkidu. A good draw has seen Sam's Nergal bleed past a wall of Hunters for 7. I use determine to bounce it into Joel, who much to his horror is unable to catch the stealthed up Nergal. Joel takes a big hit out of his pool.
In my turn I bleed into Joel with everything and he is unable to catch my bleeds of 2 at 1 stealth. Joel is the first ousted. I suddenly find myself on 20 pool, with a very nice set-up. Michael starts making noises in my direction with Enkidu, but with Nergal still bleeding me and James sufficiently cowed....Micheal started to slowly build and tool-up. Nergal attempts to more big, bomb bleeds against me but cannot quite get past my static +2 intercept and horde of Hunters.
I munch forward into James a bit, burning and recycling my Strike with Convicions and Second Sights. Enkidu bleeds out Joel, after he transfers out another large Baali. I lunge bleed again and manage to oust James. Michael concedes to me after a few turns because he cannot get through my defenses.
Damien Hennessy 1 Game Win, 4 Victory Points.
Michael Whatt 1 Victory Point.
